Inspiration: God has given new insights in the Medical Industry over the centuries, providing healing and allowing people to live longer. Recently, I read that infant mortality dropped significantly a few centuries ago when midwives started washing their hands before each delivery.  Jesus is the Healer but we thank God for allowing so many people that did not know about Jesus’ healing power get help from the Medical Hospitals and staff.

Inspiration: A Christian rented videos that were not Godly to watch.  This man justified it by saying that he was the only one watching the movies.  He was convicted by God that not only were the movies he rented producing lust in his life, but he was setting a bad example to Christians who were working at the video store.  He repented to God for his sins and started realizing how many people are getting tangled up in the devil’s sexual perversions and need Jesus to set them free from ungodly sex addictions

Inspiration: A businessman found this scripture is one that every rich person should memorize.  He says this scripture clearly shows the purpose of prosperity.  Prosperity is not given to people to be greedy or selfish but for the rich to evangelize the world for God.

Inspiration: This scripture is vital for peaceful relationships.  In some families, one person will get angry with another and a hornet’s nest starts brewing.  In other families, a more mature person will give a soft answer to an accuser to douse the flames and eliminate the strife.  We need to help and pray for those people that cause strife.

Inspiration: A twelve year boy was reading the story in the Old Testament where Solomon asked God for the gift of wisdom.  This boy thought he should ask God for a gift and that night he asked God for the gift of the God type of love not really knowing what he asked for.  Years later when he became a man, this boy was so full of God’s love that he wanted to write love songs to Jesus similar to the songs in heaven.

Inspiration: One Bible teacher says that this scripture is important for great faith. Calling things that are not as if they are, takes a step in faith that you believe God is going to perform something special for you before you see any physical evidence of it. One has to spend much time in prayer to see the answer to one’s request as that will keep your faith strong when there is a long waiting period for the answer to arrive.

Inspiration: Few are promoting purity of thought life today. Movies and TV are showing more and more scenes that make sex outside marriage seem attractive and exciting. Young and old Christians are exposed to magazines in stores that have women with virtually no clothes on. However, the good news is that Jesus is the healer. Jesus can restore anyone that has been sexually active in an ungodly manner back to purity again. One man who practised homosexuality wanted desperately to be healed by God. He asked Jesus to heal him and God did. This man and his wife now have a ministry and help similar people become sanctified in Jesus.

Inspiration: A president of a company was making lots of money.  He started doing things that were against the law.  Eventually he lost everything and went to jail.  He is out of jail now starting all over again with new hope as he repented and committed his life to Christ.

Inspiration: A businessman was able to disregard impure lusts when he first became a Christian as he was so immersed in the Bible feeding his mind on the Word of God. However, over the years, he got too busy to read the Bible a lot. He also started watching immoral TV shows and movies which stirred up lustful thoughts. After being convicted of his sin, he recommitted his life to Christ, making a covenant with the Lord with his eyes that they would be focused on the Word of God.

Learn from Children:

1)  When a baby learns to walk it stumbles and gets back and goes into the parents arms – so when you stumble in your Christian walk, run back to Jesus asking forgiveness for a baby Christian does not become an adult Christian over night

2)  Look at the things that cause you to sin, maybe TV, magazine, internet, movies, certain friends, parties – then ask Holy Spirit’s help to start separating your self from sinful traps of the devil and spend that time with Jesus instead

3)  Get a new set of friends that will pray with you on the phone and you study the Bible together during the week and pray for each other

4)  Learn from children in their child like faith- they just trust God with no unbelief – increase your faith to that level as you retrain your thinking to be in line with the Bible not the ways of the world

Important Action To Take:

1) Attend a Bible-believing church where Jesus is worshipped as Lord and Savior and the Son of God. Get involved and fellowship with mature Christians. Believe God’s thoughts of love and goodness towards you.   Be teachable and not judgemental as all the church people are not perfect, only Jesus us perfect!

2) Search daily for promises in the Bible and apply them right away.

3) Talk to Jesus every day. Listen to God’s ways and obey His plan for you. Worship God with all your heart and make Him first priority in all.

4) Increase continually your love and faith in God and stay away from things that cause you to stumble into sin. This may mean a new set of friends

5) Submit to God’s authority, Jesus’ leadership and the power of the Holy Ghost.
