Inspiration: Many high schools teach “safe sex” to their students, but the underlying message to the students is that it is time to start having sex, just do it safely which is against God’s Word. I was excited to hear about some students of some high schools promoting “No sex till marriage.” These Christians were a great light to their peers. They were popular students so the other students had respect for them and listened to them. Parents with good looking teenagers have an extra responsibility to teach their children to be an example of God for good and not for evil since others will copy what they do! Inspiration: A man said that as a six year old boy, he started reading the Bible each night. He said this habit of reading scripture helped keep him pure from sexual relationships as a teenager. When he was tempted, he would be able to look ahead at the future and see how this sin would wreck his life and his relationship with the Lord. He said it was the constant reading of Proverbs that helped him keep his sexual life under control. At 23 he threw out his TV. Inspiration: A body builder, who was saved and delivered from drugs, and herpes got hold of this scripture and has become a Christian leader praying for people to become free from addictions. A man who had been an alcoholic for seventeen years, came to this leader’s home for prayer. The body builder had trained his children in the ways of the Lord and his three year old child asked to pray for the alcoholic. As the child prayed, the power of God hit the man. Inspiration: A Bible teacher taught on discernment one day. He explained that thoughts come from three sources: 1. God, 2. the devil and 3. Self (you can generate your own thoughts or hear what others say.) This scripture can be used to analyze your thought life and immediately discern the source of a thought when it enters your mind. Casting down thoughts that exalt themselves against God helps keep the mind clear and peaceful in God’s direction. Inspiration: I have had many poor people ask me for money. Some want money for food and some want money to promote their bad habits. Each time I give to the poor, there is an opportunity to share Jesus with them. For many, it was wiser to give them food rather than money as some of the poor cannot be trusted with money. Preaching the gospel was the most important thing they needed and I was able to pray with most of them. Poor people must learn that God does not want them to be poor. Repent Means Change Your Ways To Gods Ways – Learn to love the ways of Jesus Christ and hate the evil ways of the devil

People are scared of the word repent and for some reason stay away from acting on it. Many confess their sins to God asking Jesus Christ to forgive them of all their sins and in faith, Jesus does forgive all their sins. But some people are snared with the same sins repeating them over and over because they do not change their ways. They keep doing the same patterns expecting different results. Now let us explain why John the Baptist and Jesus preached saying we must Repent! Repent means to turn away from sin and go the opposite direction from it. It also means that when we ask forgiveness we are to be sorry for our sins since when we sin we hurt our personal relationship with Jesus. In other words, repent means CHANGE YOUR WAYS ! So, for example, if you keep getting snared by lust on the TV or internet, stop looking at it and say to your self: “CHANGE YOUR WAYS”, and stop doing the same bad habits. The good news is Jesus has sent Holy Spirit to help you each hour of every day if you call on Him to help you get free from bad habits or addictions.

We recommend you attend a strong Christian church and worship Jesus as often as possible going to the altar and letting God’s power saturate you so you can break free from bondages of the past and live totally new in Christ. If you have not got water baptized yet, then ask for it and as you go under the water, die to your old ways, and as you come up out of the water, live totally for Jesus with the Help and power of Holy Spirit. .

Study the Bible every day and fall totally in love with Jesus Christ and the plan Jesus has for your life. Jesus wants to meet you in your prayer times at your home, all the time so make prayer and reading the Bible, your number #1 priority when you are not at church.

Inspiration: A student did not want to forget God’s Word so he started memorizing scripture. He wrote out passages from scripture on small cards and reviewed them over and over. This helped build faith in his life as the scriptures were so ingrained in him that he would use them to help make all his decisions. The memorized scriptures also helped guard against fear and anxiety and helped when witnessing to the lost so that he gave exact chapter and verse to people for them to search the scriptures themselves! On the days I felt like complaining, I would remember all the children of Israel (aged 20 and over) who, except for Joshua and Caleb, died in the wilderness because of their unbelief. It was at a time that I had added too many things to my daily schedule and got too busy for daily Bible study which over a period of time caused me to start falling in love with the world instead of God’s call for my life. I repented of my sin and knew from this mistake that I must always keep on, daily, studying the Bible to grow in faith or else I would become a lukewarm Christian which is a bad example. Inspiration: One Christian leader who had prayed for many others to be healed, was dying of tuberculosis, and although many were praying for him he got steadily worse. He had to stop his ministry and move in with his parents as he was getting weaker and weaker. As he was getting close to death, he said to himself “I am getting off this death bed and going to walk outside to a certain tree and praise God. Regardless if I die I will be praising Jesus.” He was so weak he could hardy get to the place under that certain tree and his family did not know it. As he lay there the devil spoke to him and said “you will die here and vultures will eat you as no one knows you are here”. He rebuked the devil and had started praising God with a whisper, then he got strength to lift his hands, then to start to walk and then to start shouting praises to Jesus. It got him depressed and he questioned if he was really a child of God since he had so many impure thoughts. He thought that when you were “saved” you got a new mind. What he did not realize was that when you get saved, only your spirit is renewed. You don’t get a new body nor a new mind at that time. Inspiration: A twenty-year old, fast food store worker shared his testimony with us. He said at age four, his parents divorced and he lived one year with his mother. His mother didn’t want him and sent him to his Dad. His Dad didn’t want him and sent him to his grandparents. At the age of seven, his grandparents gave up on him and he was moved from foster home to foster home. It was at Christmas time when he shared his story and I wept hearing he had no family that cared about him nor tried to keep in touch with him. The good news is that he has committed his life to Jesus, was part of our church family and God sent him a friend to share Christmas with. Let us open our eyes to the hurting world around us! Inspiration: In the business world, I had to work with people who would curse and swear and afterwards I often had their swear words rolling around in my head. Although I was able to take authority over the spirit of profanity in my life, I felt I needed to have a talk with one particular colleague. I shared my thoughts in a respectful way and from that day on he stopped cursing Jesus’ name. Inspiration: A student had a vision of this scripture and how it would apply to King David. In the Bible, the enemy was trying to kill the Israelites and especially the King. This student pictured the enemy as having hundreds or even thousands of their best archers all shooting at King David, yet all these arrows could not kill him as God was his shield. This student knows you are never to jump in front of bullets to temp the Lord your God however he understands that that Jesus will protect him as he does God’s will. He claims the blood of Jesus over his family, neighbors, job, house, assets, ministry every day and tithes at church so that, according to Malachi 3:10-12, the Lord rebukes the devourer for him! Inspiration: My prayer at my job was that I would be like Daniel in the Bible who had “God’s excellence” on him. God blessed my work tremendously to the point where one year I was the top employee among seven different cities. God promoted me by blessing my work and letting me produce much for the company. Every year God blessed my work to the extend I was given free vacations in exotic resort places along with the other top performers from my firm. The top salesmen in the entire nation gave a speech at one of these trips and he said “I give all the glory to God”. This blessed me since all the non Christians heard it. I started to pray more for my boss, my company, my nation and all those who are in authority over me that they would be protected and make Godly decisions! Inspiration: I have seen many miracles right before my eyes. Healing miracles are awesome but salvation miracles are even greater. One day some people from our church went to a rough neighborhood in town to share Jesus and bring food to the poor. We would pray beforehand to ask God where to send us. A husky tattooed-man drinking beer came up to me on the street one day and started talking. Minutes later he started to cry, and I was able to lead him in prayer to Jesus. It was Holy Spirit’s power that hit him. This showed me that witnessing becomes easier the more time one spends praying in the Holy Spirit before one goes out. We have prayed an hour before we went out witnessing and saw amazing miracles! My Goal is praying 4 hours in Holy Spirit and worshiping God before going out to minister for Jesus! This Christian received an excellent evaluation and the boss used two words to describe this employee – integrity and sincerity. This Christian was blessed to hear this as he wanted his life to be a good example in the workplace.
