Inspiration: A missionary couple that looked after children in a Christian camp were praying one day and received wisdom from God to pray the blood of Jesus around the perimeter of the property. They obeyed God and walked around the camp praying not knowing why they were praying this way. A few days later some dead foxes were found right on the perimeter of this Christian camp. When the authorities examined the foxes, they found all of them had rabies. This couple believed that the Blood of Jesus had protected them from someone who was trying to send in the rabid foxes to bite the children to close the camp.

Inspiration: This scripture is vital for peaceful relationships. In some families, one person will get angry with another and a hornet’s nest starts brewing. Inspiration: God loves to show how strong He is and a good example of this in the Old Testament is the story of Daniel. Daniel had been falsely accused and thrown into the lion’s den. In most cases, that person would have been eaten alive, but God’s eyes were on Daniel and God sent an angel to keep the lions’ mouths closed. Daniel received this prayer answer as his heart was righteous in the sight of God. God wants to do that for all who will follow Christ and listen to God’s instructions for protection

Inspiration: A twelve year boy was reading the story in the Old Testament where Solomon asked God for the gift of wisdom. Years later when he became a man, this boy was so full of God’s love that he wanted to write love songs to Jesus similar to the songs in heaven.

Inspiration: Today’s society is influencing a lot of children to have little respect for authority or their parents. Subliminal TV shows portray children’s rebellion as funny, so children do not respect their teachers at school and even see the police (who protect them) as their enemy. Inspiration: Few are promoting purity of thought life today. Movies and TV are showing more and more scenes that make sex outside marriage seem attractive and exciting. Young and old Christians are exposed to magazines in stores that have women with virtually no clothes on. However, the good news is that Jesus is the healer. Jesus can restore anyone that has been sexually active in an ungodly manner back to purity again. One man who practised homosexuality wanted desperately to be healed by God. He asked Jesus to heal him and God did. This man and his wife now have a ministry and help similar people become sanctified in Jesus.

At this church he was convicted of God’s love and truth he committed his life to Jesus. Inspiration: One evangelist and his team hold many crusades in Africa. During his outdoor meetings he preaches to thousands. Even witch doctors are hearing the gospel and committing their lives to Christ. In some of these meetings he has a metal garbage cans for people to get rid of their satanic things, and he instructs those former witch doctors to destroy their evil books and potions. This is a good example of Jesus coming to destroy the work of the devil however it is up to us to learn the authority of the Christian believer. We have authority over our lives but do not have authority over other’s lives or over other’s property. Inspiration: Many high schools teach "safe sex" to their students, but the underlying message to the students is that it is time to start having sex, just do it safely which is against God’s Word. I was excited to hear about some students of some high schools promoting "No sex till marriage." These Christians were a great light to their peers. They were popular students so the other students had respect for them and listened to them. Parents with good looking teenagers have an extra responsibility to teach their children to be an example of God for good and not for evil since others will copy what they do!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am seeing the seriousness of the sin of adultery as it destroys the soul. Give me strength to stand against adultery and warn others of its serious consequences. I pray for all the youth that they will not fall because of peer pressure but keep themselves pure for you. I pray for healing through Jesus for all those who have had an abortion since the abortionists never address that issue and let women stay in condemnation for decades after their abortion. In Jesus’ name I pray.

Discussion Questions: How are you teaching and advising school age young men and women about sex? How does one guard against sex outside marriage? Christian organizations have opened up to help women in unwanted pregnancy situations with ultrasound equipemnt to show pictures of the baby. 87%( from some statistics in the US) of women that saw the ultrasound of their babies heart beating in their womb, changed their mind from having an abortion to having the baby. How can Holy Spirit use you to bring healing to mothers that are facing or have already faced the abortion question? What does God think about abortion? When does the life of a baby begin from God’s point of view? Who gave all the gift of a heart beat?

Inspiration: A man said that as a six year old boy, he started reading the Bible each night. He said this habit of reading scripture helped keep him pure from sexual relationships as a teenager. When he was tempted, he would be able to look ahead at the future and see how this sin would wreck his life and his relationship with the Lord. He said it was the constant reading of Proverbs that helped him keep his sexual life under control. At 23 he threw out his TV. He teaches his flesh through fasting and prayer to abstain from all appearances of evil especially the thoughts of sexual impurity!

Inspiration: A body builder, who was saved and delivered from drugs, and herpes got hold of this scripture and has become a Christian leader praying for people to become free from addictions. A man who had been an alcoholic for seventeen years, came to this leader’s home for prayer. The body builder had trained his children in the ways of the Lord and his three year old child asked to pray for the alcoholic. As the child prayed, the power of God hit the man. He was delivered and set free from his alcoholism. We all need to have faith of a child to believe and not doubt!

Inspiration: When I was going through a trying time in my life, a man prayed for me and said "God’s hand is on your life." This helped me picture God’s hand on my head. I also thought about this scripture. God looks after the birds of the air so surely He looks after me. I am so thankful that God watches over His children so closely. My relationship with the Heavenly Father has taken on a new intimacy where I see Him holding my hand in every situation. I need to hear Holy Spirit’s warnings to stay away from things that will cause me to sin!
