Inspiration: As I read this scripture, I thought about each fruit with one or more seeds inside it, so that as the practicing Christian brings forth fruit, it multiplies, gets scattered and can produce elsewhere.  The fruit provides nourishment for others so the kingdom of God grows and Jesus gets known all over!

Inspiration: A man wrote a story of a beggar.  This beggar was on the side of the road, cold and hungry. "Please give," said the beggar and the Christian in passing gave to him.  When the Christian went to heaven, Jesus said to him:  "I was that beggar asking for food and you opened your heart and gave to me.  If I came as a King and asked you for something, you would have responded out of duty, but responding to a beggar shows a heart full of love."

Inspiration: The Parents of Jesus, Mary and Joseph are a good example of this scripture.  Joseph was warned three times in dreams.  The first dream was to take Mary to be his wife.  The second was to flee into Egypt as Herod was about to kill the infant Jesus, and the third was to settle in Nazareth after returning from Egypt.  People also get impressions from God when they spend hours in prayer, worshipping Jesus, listening and journaling the scriptures they get from God!

Inspiration: Holiness unto God, communion with God and separation from evil people are important to God.  Over the years, I have discovered that God releases His power through pure holy vessels (people) that will give Him all the glory.  This is only possible with Holy Spirit’s daily help as we cannot be holy by ourselves!

Inspiration: It is very important that all people, especially those in church leadership, to ask for the baptism of Holy Spirit.  I have seen church sub groups, such as the praise and worship team or choir, struggle since they do not know how to flow with Holy Spirit.   This scripture shows that God wants to reveal His power and get all the glory.  Mature worship leaders let Holy Spirit do the leading so that each service is an intimate and powerful encounter with God’s presence.  Many more miracles occur when all flow with Holy Spirit’s plan!

Inspiration: In the Old Testament in the Holy Bible, Joseph was a good example of this scripture.  He was sold by his brothers as a slave to Egypt.  He was falsely accused and ended up in jail for over two years.  However, after he interpreted Pharaoh’s dream, he became second in command of all of Egypt. It was God’s plan to send him ahead and prepare for a great famine.  By God’s gift of the interpretation of dreams, the people were rescued from seven years of famine, including his family.

Inspiration: One Bible teacher explained the definition of meekness.  Today’s society interprets meekness as weakness,  but this teacher said meekness is power in perfect control.  Just like Jesus who could have called on twelve legions of angels in the garden of Gethsemane but instead, submitted Himself to God’s will.  Meekness includes power to hold your tongue from lashing out but only speaking what God shows you to speak!  We need Holy Spirit’s help to clean up what we say!

Inspiration: One church leader from Africa got a vision for his church to feed the poor.  He filled a truck full of food and gave it to the orphan children begging along the road.  At first, all the hungry children tried to climb onto the truck, but after they saw more food coming, they were more orderly in receiving the food.  God has richly blessed this leader and given him funds to construct a new church facility to bless the whole community.  Jesus is really blessing that church.

Inspiration: A businessman started to meditate on this scripture of God being inside us when you commit your life to Jesus Christ, and saw that Holy Spirit is right there to help in every situation.  He saw that the power of the Holy Spirit is ever with us  ready to perform the scriptures that are spoken from our lips.

Inspiration: All of us are at different levels of Christian maturity.  In the Book of Acts, the disciples were ready to give their lives for Jesus.  Even today, missionaries are martyred for their faith.  Others, living in rich countries find it hard to love other people and to believe in miracles.  When I visited a poor country I saw people with great faith in Jesus.  A girl had a knee twice the normal size.  She came(limping) for prayer believing for a miracle.  Right before our eyes Jesus shrunk the swelling and she walked away perfectly well.  She expected a miracle and Jesus met her at her faith level.  Jesus wants His love and faith taken to all nations, to all ages, to all races and to all colors.

Inspiration: When someone told me about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, I was afraid of it based on what my family told me and therefore avoided asking for it.  But I was finally convinced by the Holy Scriptures that it was the will of God for all to have it.  I took courage and asked for this baptism at the end of a service when the leaders were laying hands on people in prayer.  I received it that night and was given a new heavenly prayer language.  This gift has been such a blessing to increase my faith as this scripture says.  It is so powerful not only because it is God’s gift, but because it increases our faith, makes our faith holy, helps to remove selfishness, gives us concern for the lost and helps us shift our priorities to line up with Gods priorities.

Inspiration: I was raised in a church that did not raise their hands during a worship service.  When I went to a service where people worshipped God by lifting up their hands,  I knew this was genuine worship but I had so much pride and self dignity I was afraid to lift my hands.  I was challenged by the preacher to worship God in a way that would be pleasing to Him. It was then that I saw myself as a three year old stretching up my hands to God for a hug while closing my eyes so I can focus on the throne room of God.

Inspiration: This scripture was a favorite of one Church leader.  He says that so many people call themselves Christians but do not do what Jesus says.  He says that many people hear the Bible scriptures but do not apply them in their lives which is the cause of hypocrisy!  Thanks be to Jesus Christ who has given us Holy Spirit to help us carry out His commands and standards in the Bible!

Inspiration: A Bible teacher explained that all Christians have been given the keys to the Kingdom of heaven, but most of them do not know how to use the keys.  Jesus used many parables so that people would search for God and the truth.  Through searching, God reveals the keys in the scriptures  so that Christians use the knowledge for God’s glory and not selfish purposes.  Constant prayer to Jesus and a listening hear will reveal truth to you and you study the Holy Scriptures.

Inspiration: A student was in need of a job.  He spent over a year getting his skills up to date with the Help of Jesus giving his wisdom and understanding.  When putting out his resume, his training opened doors to a new job.  This man would have been content with a certain salary but God did over and above what he could imagine and blessed him with a salary over twice what he expected.

Inspiration: A man lost his wife and eldest son in a car crash when someone ran a stop sign and crashed into the side of them.  A while later, he took a course on "How to share Jesus" and I sat beside this same man who has become a dear friend.  When he shares his story of the tragic accident, he tells them:  "I give thanks to God for the years I had with my wife and my son as those were gifts from God."  He was very close to his wife and family.  People are amazed that he is not bitter or angry against God in any way.  I  have shared his testimony with many people who have lost a loved one for them to thank God for the time they had with that loved one.  Each day we are alive, is a gift from God.

Inspiration: A passenger plane was circling the airport trying to land for a long time before the captain came over the intercom to prepare for an emergency landing.  A Christian, on board, heard God ask him to pray for the plane’s landing gear as that Christian saw a blueprint vision of the landing gear and the hydraulic fluid was empty.  The plane made a perfect landing and all the passengers saw that the runway was lined with fire trucks.  This Christian spoke to the pilots afterwards and pilots said the hydraulic fluid had leaked out of the landing gear so were attempting a belly land without wheels.  However miraculously, they said, the hydraulic tanks for the landing gear filled up again and the landing gear came out and locked just as the plane touched down.

Inspiration: God has given new insights in the Medical Industry over the centuries, providing healing and allowing people to live longer. Recently, I read that infant mortality dropped significantly a few centuries ago when midwives started washing their hands before each delivery.  Jesus is the Healer but we thank God for allowing so many people that did not know about Jesus’ healing power get help from the Medical Hospitals and staff.
