Inspiration: This scripture says " my people" meaning Christians are the ones who are supposed to pray.  A church leader of one of the largest churches in the world said that most Christian leaders he meets, do not really pray that much.  He is from Seoul, South Korea and gets all his church to pray an hour a day and encourages evangelism.  This country was mostly Buddhists many many years ago but now has a large percent of the population claiming to be Christians.  Ask for the infilling of Holy Spirit and the heavenly language and being willing to pray in that heavenly language in your prayer closet to intercede for your family, nation and the world!

Inspiration: Today’s society has many people saying the Bible is only a history book and is not actually the Word of God.  Since these people don’t really believe in the whole Bible but pick and choose the sections that are convenient for their lifestyle, they go about establishing their own righteousness.  Even some lukewarm church leaders have let their intelligence overrule their faith in the Holy Scriptures and wonder why healings and miracles don’t happen in their church.   Those that understand Holy Spirit’s power to heal, and know how to discern unbelief and doubt see miracles since they see the devil’s old trick to get people to walk by sight instead of walking by faith in God’s Word.

Inspiration: A close friend came to me one day and said he needed to confess some sins.  We got together for prayer and he confessed sins in his life that I never would have guessed he had committed.  He opened my eyes to true humility.  As we prayed this scripture he was forgiven and healed.  He was inspiration for me to humble myself and ask for prayer confessing my sins to my accountability brothers and sisters

Inspiration: One Bible teacher shared the importance of speaking words of truth.  He said that his own vocabulary had to change since God convicted him in so many areas.  I was convicted myself when I heard this teaching as even the fibs, exaggerations, jokes and flatteries needed to be altered in my life.  I also spoke negatively by mistake using the terms ‘Scared to Death’, ‘Killing myself laughing’, ‘Chocolate to Die for’ (desserts in restaurants) so I asked Holy Spirit’s help to remove those demonic expressions from my mouth!  Proverbs says life and death are in the tongue so I need to speak  words of life not death when I see how powerful words work in the spiritual realm!

Inspiration: A single mother raising three children was on a limited budget.  When problems with her finances or her children or other stresses in her life got too big for her to handle, she cried out "Jesus Jesus" to take these issues away from her and God answered her prayers.  Her old car was even stolen and the police found it a couple days later and returned it to her with no damage.  Over the years,  He continues to provide for her and her family.

Inspiration: When a few of us were talking about the spiritual pruning process,  a friend in our group said he asked God to mold him like clay on a potter’s wheel to shape him into a vessel for the master’s use.  However he went on to say that when God started shaping him, it wasn’t easy as he had to crucify his lusts and bad habits.  As in Adult water baptism, we go under the water to die to the ways of the world and are raised up out of the water to live a new life for Jesus only not for our selfish lusts!  Even with Adult water baptism we have to die to our own pride and reputation and live as an ambassador for Christ!

Inspiration: One Bible teacher explained that walking by faith involves spending time everyday in the Holy scriptures letting Holy Spirit speak to you through the pages of the Bible.  It also involves mediating on scriptures over and over until you see yourself walking out the victory promise in the Bible.  Faith begins where the will of God is known so walking by faith is knowing God’s will.  God’s Will is His Word and His Word is His Will.  Most people want to see the answers to their prayers before they will believe in them.  That requires no faith at all.  The teacher explained that you have to believe in the answer before you see it, as that is what walking by faith is all about.

Inspiration: Many people expect financial or healing miracles to happen immediately and although that does happen, it does not happen to all.  This scripture points out that through life one’s faith matures.  One Bible teacher explained that you have to have patience with your faith, as patience will keep you speaking the solution before it (your prayer answer) is manifested.  Jesus anointed one man’s eyes in the book of John and said go wash in the pool of Siloam!  The man did not get an instantaneous miracle when Jesus put clay on his eyes nor did Jesus help him to the pool of Siloam!  The man had to obey Jesus and then he got his miracle!

Inspiration: One year I joined a group of Bible College students to feed the poor on Christmas Day.  It was the first time I had ever been away from my family at Christmas.  My eyes were opened to feel the pain of those who do not have a family.  All of us were blessed tremendously to see the faces of the poor light up as we served them food and ate dinner with them.  Help us to take time for the poor and teach them the gospel that Jesus want to give them a job so they can help out others!

Inspiration: One church member gave anonymously for years as giving this way, was also a lot of fun!  Later in life, he found himself handing money directly to people for missions (instead of using an offering envelope) so that the church member receiving the gift would know that it was from him.  He was later convicted by God that his motives in giving were not totally pure since he wanted some recognition for his mission givings.

Inspiration: I have met families that are so blessed as everyone in that family has committed their life to Jesus and has gotten saved.  It is an encouragement to all of us that we should never give up praying for all our family and distant relatives wherever they live in the world.  Moms are unsung heroes in the Christian child raising business!  Husbands that love and honor their wives and encourage their kids with love and praise have an easier time for them to see the goodness of God!

Inspiration: I know an extremely intelligent man who thought he could manage his life on his own.  His intelligence often blocked his ability to grasp faith.  Later on in his life, when going through a crisis, he came to God with child like faith and committed his life to Christ.  He first had to humble himself to see his need for Jesus as he had so much self pride!

Inspiration: A businessman was tested for awhile to see if he would trust in his riches or use his riches for advancing God’s Kingdom.  During prayer, this businessman felt God speak to him to buy a motel and invite evangelists to use it free of charge if they would pass out Christian tracts to the surrounding area so that all people in the vicinity would hear about Jesus.  Several years later, when he felt God prompt him that the the evangelistic work was done, he was approached by a land developer, who offered this businessman 20 times as much as he originally paid for the motel and property.   This man has been able to give millions of dollars to God’s work.

Inspiration: In the 1980’s I heard a man prophesy about hand held computers and that God was saying His children were not listening to Him for inventions. It never occurred to me that good inventions were from God and, at that time, I didn’t know what a hand held computer was, since personal computers the size of desk tops were just coming out. Decades later, hand held computers are now called smartphones and tablets and are getting more powerful all the time. I now realize that God wants to give inventions to people that will use the invention and the income from it to advance His Kingdom.

Inspiration: Bible teachers tell us that Israel is the time clock of the world since all biblical scriptures of Jesus’ second coming relate to Israel.  This helped me to pay attention to the news concerning Israel and to pray for that country and its people and for peace.  Israel and their leaders need the protection of God!

Inspiration: I have been on missions in different countries, and found in some parts of the world, people expect and receive miracles from Jesus readily because they have no unbelief in their hearts as they trust in Jesus first before any other way. On the other hand, in some of the rich and well educated countries, many people have a hard time believing in miracles, and even believing all the Bible is true. I just read an account of a lady that had cancer on her face and when she had hands laid on her for prayer she believed she received at the time they prayed for her.  She kept believing and twenty days later, the cancer fell off her face.  The doctors were amazed.

Inspiration: One Bible teacher states that Christian maturing never stops as we learn to live by every word that precedes from God’s mouth.  This not only means living a life of prayer to receive God’s directions,  but also asking God to run our finances, businesses and relationships all in accordance with His principles in the Bible.  Christians needs to study the Word of God daily so they can move the Holy scripture promises from their head to their heart so they are firmly established on the Word of God and are not shaken by the storms of life.

Inspiration: Some nations were founded on Christian principles, but over the decades, leaders and luke-warm Christians have set their own standard of righteousness causing people to fall away from God.  Christians need to run for leadership positions as God directors so the nation can do righteous actions.    One Bible teacher put it this way:  "Pray for your leaders that they would have the fear of God in them and encourage Christians to run for public office.  Pray for the churches that they would become like the church in the first century preaching faith from God in the Holy Scriptures."    This teacher also said that Christians need to repent of their sins and their forefather’s sins and dedicate their nation to God.

Inspiration: A friend, who was the president of a corporation, attended church all his life.  One day, one of his employees called him a hypocrite, saying he acted in an unchristian manner. My friend was shaken up by this accusation and started searching in the Holy Bible and discovered that he had never let Jesus take control of his life.   Through his study he learned to die to his own ways and accept Jesus’ plan for his life as he asked Jesus into his heart for the first time.  As his old life died, his new life with Jesus sprung up with new joy and purpose.  My friend is now a leader for Christ in his community sharing his testimony everywhere and helping to set people’s faith on fire.

Inspiration: I heard a man speak who had been knighted twice by the Queen of England.  He did not become a Christian until later in his life.  This man was a diligent lawyer and God had chosen him to become an ambassador for a country.  This job brought him before the United Nations.  He was able to share the Lord Jesus as the Christ the Son of God with other world leaders at these meetings.

Inspiration: A church overseer who had founded many churches came to speak at our church.  When we came to talk with him after the service,  he asked us to pray for him because he said, he needed our prayers.  I was blessed by his humility asking for our prayers.  This helped me to understand that those in the front lines need our prayers so that the Word of God can be preached in all countries.  Let us remember God gives grace to the humble but resists the proud according to James chapter 4!

Inspiration: A missionary in the Philippines became very sick.  In America, a lady was awakened by the Lord in the middle of the night asking her to pray in the spirit for this missionary although she had no knowledge of why she was praying for him.  He was healed of his disease and when he came back to America to share in his America church how he was healed,  the lady that had prayed for him asked him the exact time and date of his pain.  As he shared with her, she told him that was the exact time the Lord had asked her to pray for him.

Inspiration: One of the natives shared an amazing miracle while we were on a missionary trip right after a terrible hurricane.  This native had faith that the hurricane winds would not destroy his tin-roofed house.  This hurricane was one of the worst in Central America and while other houses were being blown over in the storm, people came to his house which stayed strong and was not damaged throughout the entire hurricane.

Inspiration: A boy was taught that God is a god of love and never would hate anything.  But as this boy matured in his personal relationship with Jesus Christ his savior, he found out that there is good and evil in the world and God hates evil works. This boy discovered that it was not wrong for people to hate evil works, since hating evil deeds helps build a life of holiness.  Love all people but hate sin and all appearances of evil was his summary!
