Inspiration: In High School, a young man disobeyed his parents’ good teaching and hung around an evil crowd. Later he was framed for a murder and went to jail with a life sentence. One day a young boy came to the prison fence and shared Jesus with him. Later the boy became a leader on his High School student’s counsel and organized with the Principal for this prisoner to come and speak to the whole study body of the dangers of having evil friends. Overtime this prisoner gave his heart to Jesus He was released from prison years later, and has dedicated his life to preach Jesus to teenagers and to warn them of the dangers of sin and not follow the wrong crowd!

Inspiration: There was a man in the Bible called King Saul, and although he was true to God at first, later he disobeyed God. He was jealous of David, and started planning to kill him since he didn’t want David to be King. (Samuel 28:6) When the Philistines later attacked Israel, Saul prayed to the Lord for help but the Lord did not answer him. Inspiration: A husband was in hospital following heart surgery when his wife got a call in the middle of the night to say that her husband’s condition was critical and that she needed to come immediately. Inspiration: In Acts Chapters 27 and 28, the Apostle Paul went through a major test even though he tried to warn the leaders of the danger that lay ahead. Paul and the rest of the 275 people on the ship had to endure a terrible storm which in those days often meant death. The ship ended up being wrecked on an island where Paul, while helping to build a fire, was bitten by a poisonous snake. The islanders were amazed that the snake’s bite did not harm him. Later Paul prayed for one of the island leaders who was sick and Jesus healed that man. Through these trials the island of Malta saw the power of Christ. Think also of how these 275 people on the ship could be converted and become on-fire Christians to change their world for Christ since God had saved their lives from ship wreck!

As he pondered on the size of His feet (in this image of Jesus using the earth as His footstool), he saw how powerful Jesus is and how evil can never defeat the Christian that calls on Jesus to rescue him. Inspiration: A Christian had water sprinkled on him as a baby but he thought he needed to be water baptized as an adult since as a baby, baptism meant nothing to him. As he thought about being baptized in water, he became nervous of what others might think of him and was embarrassed to be baptized in front of people. He then saw that was pride in his life. When he learned that water baptism involved going under the water to die to self and being raised from the water was to live a new life for Jesus, he asked to be water baptized. He then understood how important dying to self was so water baptism was a reminder to die to self and live for Christ!

He said try to pray an hour a day and use the Lords prayer as your main prayer. When praying the Lords prayer, he said do not rush through it but take each sentence and apply it to as many situations as the Holy Spirit shows you. For example, the sentence: Thy Kingdom come can be prayed, Thy Kingdom come on our government, Thy Kingdom Come on all governments, Thy will be done in my familys life, Thy Will be done in our church as it is in heaven. Inspiration: A woman from another religion was raped by a man with known HIV Aids virus. This devastated woman went to the doctor to have her blood tested and received the terrible news that the man who raped her had given her the HIV Aids virus. This woman came to our Christian Bible study and asked for prayer. She became a Christian and Jesus healed her. She went back to the doctors for more blood tests to prove that her blood was now pure free of the HIV disease. The doctors confirmed the miracle as she was now given clearance to work her job again. I saw her a year after her healing and she was as strong and healthy as ever.

Inspiration: A Bible teacher was speaking on Holy Spirit. He said Holy Spirit, is a person, and is the power source of God on earth. Holy Spirit performs the scriptures that you confess and believe in, when you pray. Holy Spirit will not answer prayers that are unscriptural since He does not agree with them. He only agrees with what is in the Bible since the Bible is God’s Word.

Inspiration: An evangelist and his team were called by God to witness in a rough area of town. This team felt God’s presence on them as they had spent a long time in prayer before they went out. As they walked down the streets sharing with the people coming out of bars, they came across a man who pulled a gun on them. The evangelist said "No weapon formed against me shall prosper" and God knocked the gun out of this man’s hand. The team then told the man about Jesus. God protected all the team!

Inspiration: A 20 year old Christian lady told us she would never forgive the man who raped her a few years back. We explained to her that Jesus wanted her to forgive that man. Even though she could not forgive him on her own, we told her that Jesus would give her His strength to be able to forgive him. Three months later I saw this same lady and she was overjoyed to tell me that she did forgive the man that raped her and that God was blessing her life ever since. She said when she forgave him, she cried all that day all the hurt from that rape disappeared out of her life!

Inspiration: At the end of a church service, my friend went forward to the altar to ask for prayer. On the way home he felt this inner joy bubbling up from the inside of him and he started to praise God with a new heavenly language. He received God’s baptism of Holy Spirit. His prayers are so powerful when he prays in Holy Spirits language.
